In order for your group to make a PowerPoint presentation, your group will have to investigate one biome and learn about certain aspects of it. Each member of your group will have a job. After becoming an expert in that area, you will bring your expertise back to your group, and report what you have learned. Keeping in mind that you want to convince the rest of your class that your biome would be the best to visit, you will sort out the best information and use it to make your PowerPoint.
These are the jobs that each group will have:
Botanist |
This person will report on the plants of the area; is there a specific type of plant that grows here and nowhere else?
Ecologist |
This person will report on the environment of the biome: climate, when the best time to visit would be; seasonal differences focus should be nature- climate, weather, natural wonders, geography.
Zoologist – 2 per group |
