Introduction 

Congratulations!!  Because your class has worked so hard this year, it has won an all-expense paid field trip to any biome in the world. There are five basic biomes that you will need to become familiar with in order to decide where your class wants to go. The biomes are: the desert, mountains, ocean, rainforest, grasslands. Your class will have to decide which biome will be the destination for this once-in-a-lifetime trip. Your job will be to research one aspect of a biome and make a slide presentation that will convince the rest of your class that it is the best biome to go see. Remember, all expenses will be paid for this trip, so be convincing!!  

After exploring your biome, your group will need to gather the information, summarize it, and present it as a PowerPoint slide show. You will need to persuade the rest of your class that your biome is the best one to visit, since it is only possible to go to one. Once all of the presentations have been made, your class will present to another class. Everyone  will be able to vote for their favorite destination.
